In the event of your child being off school due to Covid, your child's 'bubble' being sent home or a partial / whole school closure, the following contingency plan will come in to force.

Your child is at home with Covid:

Your child will not be set any home learning by their class teacher as they need to concentrate on getting better.

Your child is at home shielding but does not have Covid:

Your child's class teacher will direct you via our online learning platform, Seesaw, to some activities that they can access online. You can also find some useful links to online learning by clicking here.

Your child's bubble is sent home due to a confirmed case of Covid in the class:

Your child's teacher will begin a programme of online learning via our platform, Seesaw. This will consist of daily English and mathematics lessons, online activities linked to science and their topics as well as a weekly class meeting using Microsoft Teams.
We will notify you when the bubble are able to return to school.

The whole school is closed either as a result of multiple Covid cases or a change in government guidance:

Every class teacher will begin a programme of online learning via our platform, Seesaw. This will consist of daily English and Mathematics lessons, as well as activities linked to Science, Topic, Art, PE and PSHE.

Children in Year 1 and Year 2 will be set 3 hours of home learning every day, whilst those in Years 3 - Year 6 will be set 4 hours of home learning every day. This will include a daily live session with their teacher using Microsoft Teams.
Children in Reception and Pre-school will also have access to activities every day and they too will have the opportunity to work with their teacher on Teams.

In the event that your child's teacher is unwell due to Covid, their online learning will be provided by a different member of staff.
