Spring Term 2017
We will be learning about The Great Fire of London in the first half of the term. We will look at the differences between firefighters then and now and the differences between London now and in 1066. I recommend a visit to the Museum of London and the Monument, to see where the fire started.
In the second half of the term our topic is called Healthy Heroes. We will be learning about keeping healthy and finding out about how some famous people in sports keep healthy. Also, we will be learning about other healthy heroes like the work of doctors and nurses. If you are a doctor, nurse or dentist and would be happy to talk about keeping healthy we would love you to come into class.

Thursday 2nd February: Fire of London dress up day.
PE We have PE on a Wednesday. However there may be times when we are unable to do PE on a Wednesday so PE kits are to be kept in school all week. PE next half term will be on a Tuesday afternoon.
In our topic last term we made an animation explaining what happened in the fire of London. The children worked in groups to take pictures of different parts of the story, they then created sound effects and speech to tell the story. This is the finished animation:
