Autumn Blue Planet
The first half term we study the effect of water in the environment. We visit water features in the locality and also have a three day residential visit to the coast.
The second half term focuses on how water is a resource that must be carefully managed, looking at water treatment locally and the work of water charities.
A visit to the Trenchard museum and the local airfield help us to understand how objects and creatures can fly.
We then look at tourism and plan a virtual holiday to the Caribbean, including our own checking in lounge and flight simulator!
Research of Victorian life prepares us for the study of 'Oliver' by Charles Dickens. We look at evidence locally and further afield.
Finally, we finish the term by performing the play.
