Friends of Halton Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The Friends of Halton School is a fund raising parents’ organisation which is administered by an annually elected committee. The PTA’s aim is to support the school through fund raising and also to provide social activities for the enjoyment of parents and pupils. All parents are automatically members and if you would like to join the committee or become involved in any way please talk to a member of the PTA or to a member of staff - everyone is welcome!

We are currently raising funds to buy some iPads and a charging trolley to be used across the school as part of the Computing curriculum. We appreciate that times are hard however we are extremely appreciative of any donations that are made to the school.

The PTA committee can be contacted via haltonptasecretary@gmail.com

What do we spend the money on?

The PTA support the school in a variety of ways. The money is spent on projects and initiatives that are of benefit to the whole school which in the past has included;

- Renovation of the Outdoor Classroom

- Resources for our outdoor learning activities including our new base camp and allotment

- A sound system for the hall

- New reading material for the library

- Books for classrooms, including books for pleasure and those supporting the curriculum

- 2 class sets of iPads and a charging trolley

- 3 sets of home reading books to support our Twinkl Phonics scheme
