PE:

PE is every Thursday. Please come to school wearing your PE kit. If you have ear rings, please can you either remove them or have them covered with tape. Thank you. 

Homework:

Homework is set on Seesaw every Friday and is marked throughout the week.

 There are 3 levels of homework that you can do:

Must - read every day and practise Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS)

Should - read every day, practise TTRS and do the Squirrel Maths

Could - read very day, practise TTRS, do the Squirrel Maths and the other activity. 

Your log ins for Seesaw and TTRS are in your Home School Diaries.  

In class, we mentioned about the House Reading Competition that we're having in school. Stuck in your HSD is a chart so that you can easily monitor what you need you have read. The amount of reading will then be recorded at the start of each week and you will be given points towards your house's total. 

Topics:
Autumn -The Tudors

We will learn all about the Tudors and how they shaped our society. We will become familiar with all the big names in this period of History and will also visit Hampton Court Palace. 

Spring - The Ancient Greeks

In this topic we will learn all about the Ancient Greeks and their civilisation. We will read about their wonderful myths and legends and how the idea of democracy has extended into the world today.

Summer - The Blue Planet

In the Summer term, we will research our world and the seas. We'll think about the way that our lifestyles are impacting on the environment and what we can do to help repair the damage that we've caused so far.
